1. Q. How does im4israel work? How do you raise money for terror victims?
A. The mission of im4israel is two-fold. First of all, we promote struggling Israeli businesses that have been hurt by the violence and decrease of tourism to Israel. Many of our vendor partners are counting on e-commerce to stay in business.
Secondly, we raise money for NAVAH (Non-profit Association for Volunteering & Assisting the Hurt), an organization that helps terror victims and their families. 18% of our earnings, from purchases made through the im4israel website, are donated to NAVAH. If ordering by email or telephone, you must mention im4israel when ordering.
2. Q. Am I paying more by buying through im4israel rather than purchasing directly from the vendor’s website?
A. No. You are linking to the same website. The only difference is that by first going to im4israel.org and
then linking to the vendor’s website you are automatically donating to the terror victims. This is because im4israel is committed to donating a portion of its earnings to NAVAH.
3. Q. Who are the vendor partners and how were they chosen?
A. Our vendor partners listed on the website were all carefully chosen. They offer a wide selection of quality products and services from Israel. They have excellent prices, service and secure payment options.
4. Q. How can I ensure that a portion of my purchase will be donated to the terror victims.
A. If you link from to the vendor and make a purchase, the vendor will know that it was accessed through im4israel.org. If you contact the vendor by phone or email to make your purchase, you must mention that you are buying through im4israel.org.
This will ensure that a contribution will be made to the terror victims.
5. Q. Who is NAVAH? What do they do?
A. NAVAH's programs bring people from abroad together to help victims of
terrorism rebuild their lives. NAVAH distributes care packages, together with a monetary
endowment, from people around the world. This communicates to the victims of terror that people care about them and pray for their recovery. The emphasis on bikur cholim (visiting the sick) is what makes NAVAH unique. The volunteers of NAVAH spend hours visiting victims after each attack, sitting by their bedsides, listening to them and encouraging them.
NAVAH also makes an effort to keep in touch with the victims of terror
they visit, and continues to help them with their various needs.
